Hi Friends!

I’m so glad you popped in. I’m Lori and the face behind Lori Trapani Designs.  I am a surface pattern designer, watercolor artist, mom of two girls and two bonus boys.  

My deepest passion is creating artwork that brings beauty into everyday life — and partnering with brands to make that possible is my greatest joy.

After years as a corporate graphic designer, I followed a long-held dream: to license my art and see it come to life on meaningful products — especially those that brighten the lives of families, children, and the women who love them. From charming nursery décor to sweet fabrics for little ones' apparel, I create with one purpose in mind: to spark joy and infuse simplicity and warmth into the lives of others.

My work is inspired by coastal living here on Hilton Head Island, where I now live with my husband David and our two dogs. The natural beauty of the Lowcountry — soft florals, winding nature trails, ocean breezes — finds its way into my palette of gentle watercolors and whimsical patterns. Whether I’m painting tea party treats for a little girl’s dress, sketching florals for a nursery wallpaper, or designing fabric for a storybook-inspired collection, I’m always thinking about how my art can serve as a vessel of joy and connection.
