Hi Friends!

I’m so glad you popped in. I’m Lori and the face behind Lori Trapani Designs.  I am a surface pattern designer, watercolor artist, mom of two girls and two bonus boys, and a coffee fanatic. My passion for everything creative began in my childhood, where I constantly created things out of scraps of paper, fabric, paints, markers, glitter…you name it. I left nothing untouched. I spent hours decorating my dollhouse and illustrating stories I’d written. I knew early on that creativity would always be a part of my world. 

In October of 2020, I married the love of my life, David, in the pouring rain. Together, we envisioned a life of living on the coast. So, in January of 2021, we picked up our lives and moved from Atlanta, GA to Hilton Head Island, SC. Being an island dweller is truly a dream come true. I find inspiration in all of its natural beauty, and love illustrating the flowers and foliage I discover. When not covered in paint, ink or graphite, I can be found biking, paddle boarding, visiting quirky little coffee shops and art galleries, exploring nature trails and beaches, and playing with my dogs.

I spent the majority of my career as a corporate graphic designer.  But, about the same time we moved, I took the opportunity to pivot my business to incorporate a dream that has been burning in my heart for several years. Simply put…my desire was to turn my art into products in hopes of adding beauty in the lives of others.

While pursuing this dream, something became very clear to me. I have a softness in my heart for hardworking ladies, just like myself, who crave simplistic beauty in their lives. Women who love their people deeply and have a burning desire to thrive, not just survive. I am in constant search of inspiration that sparks joy and helpful tips to work smarter, not harder. I spend my days dreaming of and creating beautiful products to improve productivity and cultivate celebrations, and I want to share it all with you!
